Since 2005, our Board Certified Podiatrists at Foot & Ankle Medical Clinic have provided comprehensive podiatry care for patients of all ages in the Dallas and surrounding area. Foot & Ankle Medical Clinic has two locations – one in Garland TX where podiatrist Scott Nelson, DPM sees patients, and another location in Wylie TX where our doctor is Hang Nguyen, DPM.
Both of our trusted and experienced foot specialists take a conservative, family-centered approach to treatment. Dr. Nelson and Dr. Nguyen opt for the least-invasive options whenever possible. At Foot & Ankle Medical Clinic, our doctors, caregivers and staff subscribe to the idea that the patient always comes first. Dr. Nelson and Dr. Nguyen’s unwavering commitment to their patients is reflective of this fact on a daily basis.
Foot & Ankle Medical Clinic offers the typical foot and ankle care treatments and services that you would expect from a comprehensive podiatry clinic. We treat all sorts of foot and ankle wounds, sprains, fractures and conditions – most of the time without surgery. We offer laser therapy and KeryFlex™ nail restoration for patients with foot skin and toenail conditions. In addition, our doctors perform surgery on a regular basis for patients whose foot and ankle problems cannot be solved with non-invasive or minimally-invasive treatments.
For patients with diabetes, it is important to stay on top of their foot health in order to avoid problems down the road. Dr. Nelson and Dr. Nguyen spend time with these patients providing guidance on preventive foot care and going over how to best monitor their feet at home. In addition to diabetic patients, Foot & Ankle Medical Clinic’s podiatrists spend time on preventative guidance with any patient that could benefit from it.
Our podiatrists in Garland TX and Wylie TX are located in northeast Dallas County, close to the county line. Interestingly, the city of Wylie spans across three counties – Collin County, Dallas County and Rockwall County. Because of these locations, it makes Foot & Ankle Medical Clinic uniquely able to serve people from cities, towns, communities and neighborhoods across multiple counties.

Hang Nguyen, DPM
Podiatric Foot and Ankle Specialist in Wylie Texas
Dr. Hang Nguyen, DPM is a podiatrist who is passionate about helping people move comfortably and confidently at every stage of life. A New Orleans native, Dr. Nguyen earned a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, California, and completed residency training in foot and ankle surgery at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Texas.
Dr. Nguyen treat and manage a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including flatfoot reconstruction, bunion and hammertoe correction, diabetic foot care, fracture management, and more. Fluent in Vietnamese, Dr. Nguyen values the opportunity to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds and ensure that each person feels understood and supported.
With a philosophy centered on compassion and teamwork, Dr. Nguyen takes time to listen, explain treatment options, and create care plans that fit each patient’s lifestyle. The goal is simple: to help every patient get back on their feet with confidence and peace of mind.
